Message from the Founder

Roberta Wusu, M.Ed., TESOL Educator | Founder, Books for Thought Library

With over 7,600 hours of online teaching experience, I’ve learned that theory alone doesn’t prepare teachers for real classrooms. My journey from teaching community college and technical school students to working with learners from China, Japan, Korea, Brazil, and beyond shaped my passion for teacher training.

After completing my M.Ed. in TESOL, I saw how academic learning transformed my teaching. Every class became more meaningful, and every student interaction more purposeful. Now, as a Ph.D. candidate in Education (Advanced Educational Leadership), I continue this mission — to help teachers worldwide find confidence, clarity, and joy in what they do.

That’s why I created TESOL Career Connect and the English Rules System — to make teaching English simple, structured, and rewarding.
Because TESOL isn’t just a job; it’s a calling — one that helps others find their voice, and in the process, helps us rediscover our own. 💙
